Doctor-Prescribed Medicine for Orphans

In February, Shishu Vikas Foundation carried out a vital initiative to provide doctor-prescribed medicines to children in orphanages. Understanding the importance of timely healthcare, we partnered with medical professionals to identify and fulfill the medication needs of orphaned children, ensuring their well-being and recovery.

Highlights of the Initiative:

  • Health Check-ups: Partner doctors conducted health assessments to identify the medical needs of children.
  • Medicine Distribution: Essential prescribed medicines were provided to treat various health conditions and support overall wellness.
  • Health Awareness: Volunteers educated the children and caregivers on the importance of medication adherence and healthy living.
  • Ongoing Support: Follow-up visits were planned to monitor the children’s health and ensure continued care.

This initiative was a heartfelt effort to prioritize the health of vulnerable children, ensuring they have access to the medical support they need. With continued efforts, we aim to build a healthier, happier future for every child.
